5 Seconds of Summer, written in shortened form as 5SOS, are an Australian pop rock band from the city Sydney, New South Wales, formed in the second half of 2011. The group consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Luke Hemmings, lead guitarist Michael Clifford, bassist Calum Hood, and drummer Ashton Irwin. They are all awesome in each of their role in the team, making them a very strongly entertaining band group. They are very popular with about with about 8 million subscribers on YouTube. BLENDER is a follow up to their previous song, Take My Hand and Complete Mess, all taken off their forthcoming fifth studio album. The latest track is the seemly the 2nd track from the album tracklist. 5SOS have also named their 2022 tour after this brilliant song.

The group initially made a confirmation of the song on March 20, 2022 in an interview with KIIS-FM. A day later, drum man Ashton Irwin took to his twitter to declare that the song was his favorite on their fifth studio project.
